I am jonesing for my thrift stores! Heck, I may even go on my lunch too! There's this little place down the street I try to hit at least once a week, Another One's Treasure, (gee, I wonder how many thrift stores are named that!?)They are super cheap, clean, and give discount coupons every month. Of course, you have to sift through lots of Aunt Jemima bottles people have painted, and '80's tacky-ness, but-the thrill of finding something cool and groovy is way worth it.
Tonight, I'll hit Goodwill, Salvation Army, 2 Family Thrifts, DAV (veterans) and Savers Super Thrift! Post my goodies later!!
Have a good one all! Zootsuitmama

what a great find! And its nice to meet you :)
You too! I just posted on my facebook that I went to a Salvation Army tonight and someone had gotten rid of about 25 figurines (vintage oriental) and of course, I couldn't buy them. Keep in touch and I'll visit you too! Us retro gals have to stick together!
I recognize a thrift-o-holic when I see one....takes one to know one. Cool Carafe. Thanks for coming by my blog.
Those are very cool. I love the shape of the first one especially. I need the bottom parts that hold the warming candle. Still looking. Thanks so much for posting! As you can see, I am just getting started in this whole blog thing. But what fun! I CANNOT wait to check and see everyone's finds and how they decorate with them! Zootsuitmama
