Monday Monday

sy! Anybody out there? I couldn't sleep well, so I got up and got with it! Does anyone else ever just wanna stay home and bake, decorate, clean and work on things? No-didn't think so. Well, after being a "liberated" housewife and out in the ratrace for a while, I would LOVE to! Not that I am no longer liberated, but nowadays, liberated means choosing to stay home or work, and baby, when it's cold outside, I definitely get the nesting instinct. One thing I wanted to do this weekend was to watch "Three Wishes". It's a movie that came out in the 90's with Patrick Swayze. It is set in the late 50's, in a time when women were misfits in the workplace, or if they were single moms. The woman in the movie has an AWESOME mod house, decorated to the hilt with everything from the era, from the kitchen to the bedroom. But that aside, it's a great movie too. I won't give it away - but there is some magic goin' on involving a dog that may or may not be a "genie". I'm gonna make that my goal tonight. Watching it always fires me up to get back my regular retro vintage look after taking down the Christmas. Heck, I haven't had the house non holiday since Sept. when I decorated for Halloween!
