After Christmas, it seems to take a few weeks to know exactly what to do in the rooms that once had tons of decor. Any one else feel bare? I mean rooms, silly! Anyway, I took time to clean my kitchen well yesterday, and did pretty well on the stove burners. I need to shine them up more, they get black from cooking, and it's hard to get off, so one more cleaning should get it! And, I love to put out all my bright plastic and metal cannisters again, with my chalk fruit. So bright and clean! If I didn't rent, though, I'd do something with these brown counter tops. Blah~. Also, the guest room is now all birds, etc...take a look see!

Z-mama, by any chance is that large picture at the top your living room? Everything looks adorable & I've decided to come live with you. I would be a perfect roommate - I'd even clean the burners ;- ) Very adorable house! You've got the "touch"!

UGH my rooms are bare and DUSTY. You don't realize how much dust all that stuff and moving it around kicks up until it's laid bare. LOVE your images, esp the mixer and radio (I have that radio packed away so maybe it will now take the place of some knick knack at my house).

Your place is so adorable! I have the same Proctor Silex percolator (mine's with starbursts)...isn't it the greatest?! The coffee just tastes better to me.
