Hello all!

I know, it's been too long! STILL looking for a job, but some promising leads. I have been taking some things to a consignment shop, trying to get my etsy going and generally trying to accomplish things around the house while off from work! I thought it would be fun to do an apron post. If you are anything like me, you love aprons. I guess it is symbolic of a different time, comfort food and someone in the kitchen serving it up!
The red one with white and sequins reminds me of my Grandma's awesome red and white kitchen curtains!Let's see all your aprons, and I'll post more. The one I like best will win an apron Give a Way!

I think I had to resell all my aprons back in the day (I'll check), but I have one my great Aunt made back in the 30's or 40's. :) I'll take some pics.

I have TONS of vintage aprons, as well as tablecloths, and crocheted potholders. The first vintage apron I ever found was at Thrift Town in N. Richland Hills, TX for .79 cents! It has a cool atomic print on it in red, green and gray. If I was at home I'd take a pic of it, but I'm at work right now.

Ah shoot, now I have to dig through all my vintage linens to find my aprons, but I do have one that I often thought that, were I younger and thinner, it might be more fun to wear whilst preparing dinner than your average polka dot, cherries, Moulin Rouge, whatever aprons. When I find it and put it on my blog, you'll understand. BTW, I seriously love that Santa one!

Great! I have so many aprons (time to move some to the shop!) so I'll try to post some on my blog.

I only own one vintage apron (http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ixg9N_QqT3E/TPTxLdfykLI/AAAAAAAAApg/EDhNZwNKPuE/s1600/cookingday1.jpg) but I've seen similar ones in different colourways on Etsy. I think maybe it was a homemade one copied from a pattern in a magazine, because there are a few ones out there all with their own individual style!
