Hola my name is Crazy! Welcome to the Calypso Carnival!

Ok, so...I find this sheetmusic last night. That set me off on changing the back/dining room to my "mexican" themed room...At 3 am, I had transferred Fiesta and all to the back room, and made the kitchen have a cleaner, less cluttered look. Some may say, "Why Zoot, why are you so loco?" I don't know! But here are the results~
Not a whole lot different, just less stuff on the counters, more mixture of primary colors and pastelsThe cabinets show the colors with the dishesThis is my new curtain over the sink window, it's my hankies.
D for Deb, that's my real name.

shelves...

More thrift store finds this weekend...Bunny bank, a sixties oriental girl...Suzy Kwan.

Well, I feel better, until the next decorating bug hits me. I'm headed for the basement. Who knows what I'll find while I'm cleaning! Adios Amigos and Amigas. If youre into mid century I might even say Aoembas'.

Wow, such awesome pieces. It's hard for me to pick a favorite out of these pictures but I am loving that mod shelf paper. Great find! Oh, I also love the collage of pictures on the wall behind the table and lamp!

Oh very nice!! Doesn't it feel good to rearrange and change stuff around??

I have crazy, I mean CRAZY hours too, so I'm up at 3:00 a.m. with ya lol... 1:00 a.m., 4:00 a.m., whenever.

Moved the second set of shelves into the pink room today, painting them white tomorrow. Can't wait to put things on them as that room has the most "stuff" and needs the shelves.

Of course since I got white paint, I will have to paint the awful dark dresser white too, oh and the dark frame around the mirror about it on the wall, but I will show pics once it's done. Uhh I'm sure it'll take at least a week!!

Oh man, I am SO envious of your collection of kitchen goodies! I just love every piece you have and I totally understand - when I get the urge to redecorate/rearrange I have to do it, regardless of the time. I've been known to paint the hallway at 4am!

I LOVE your kitchen!

Thanks guys! And yes, Christine, I can relate one thing leads to another. My Mom always says I bring a lot of work on myself, and it's true. But then, all you thrifters, collectors and bloggers understand!

I looked on the back of the plates, but there are no markings. Take a picture of yours! In all my thrifting years, I've never seen them. Thanks Delia and Susie QT!

You have such cute stuff my oh my!!
Makes me drool everytime you post a bunch of pictures. =D
I wanted to do something like you did with my hankies and scarves too. But I was thinking of doing it above my closet doors. If you cherish any of those hankies alot. remember that having them there will sun fade them quite quickly.
