Rage against the Machines!

I have had about enough of these machines! Have you ever had a day ( or a few days ? ) that everything you touch either A)Falls apart  B) quits working C) both??? That's been my day. First, I don't have heat. It's zero, and my landlord said, "Just touch the two wires together til I get another thermostat" Not working. Thank God I have my electric simulated roaring fireplace!~ I turned the oven and all the burners on the stove on, too. So, not too bad. Then I got into the kitchen drawer and IT fell apart. I spent an hour pounding and straightening nails only to have it not really hold together. My computer at work has also been acting up. There is a fan not working, and finally it was replaced today. Maybe I have bad vibes, or I'm giving off some EMP Electromagnetic Pulse, that brings all the mechanical things around me down? I've gone through three cameras this year. I decided to go get one from the thrift store, and got a good one for ten dollars. Guess what? No drivers. I have searched high and low, but to no avail. What'd I tell ya?
So here's some more rerun pix, just so you'll know I'm alive and kickin'!

Love to all, Zootsuitmama

That's a serious run of bad luck! We had a blackout for over 5 hours today so I kinda know how you feel!

Lamps. We all love our mid-century lamps. I buy them. They are working when I first plug them in. Give them a few hours, weeks or months, and they STOP working!!

Yes I know, simply rewire them. But one is a fragile chalk base. Others are ceramic and fragile. Another two have bottom screws that are rusted or corroded and will need some muscle to unscrew.

As for computers I killed two in two years with nothing backed up. And now I have a back-up system and have yet to plug it in UGH!! Today!!

Oh No! Looks like you have caught the Y2K bug 11 years late, LOL! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you too! I love your old fridge, I don't think a tank could stop that thing :-)
