This is my latest find and I am so excited to finally have another vintage fridge. It is aSV-76 frigidaire. Blue green inside and exactly like this picture. I will post real pix soon. Hope all are doing well!

Summer...so far!

Hey all! Just a quickie...to let ya know what I've been up to so far this summer. Top pix is my 24.00 hide a bed from the fifties! In great shape, too! Cannot pass up couches. My addiction is now lamps and couches, oh, and  oh and pillows! I found a great oriental barkcloth at the thrift for 99 cents! See bottom pix... The lampshade isnt' perfect, but also 1.00! and I have finally put up my clothesline. Luv hanging sheets! Thanks son Matt for helping! Disregard my finger...lol. Two trees have fallen on the roof with all the storms here in Missouri. No one hurt, except the landlords pocket! One good thing about renting. HOpe all are well!

Hello! Just a sneak peek of the "patio area" starting to come together. Hope the weather where you are is as great as here! Almost 90 degrees and sunny. Time to think about outdoor living before the mosquitos take over, LOL!!

Just a quicky check in to show off my new lamp. My friend came up from  the Ozarks and brought this awesome pink beauty but the shade is my fav part!! Started a new job last Monday, and while I hate starting over, I think it will be much better than the last two with more opportunity to grow. Til later when things settle down, happy thrifting!

Spring redo again!

Once again I am changing! Painted one of my metal cabinets to hold my huge TV, I know, not a flatscreen...it was free! 

Soooo...had to rearrange. I am off work again for a while, so have the time.

Changed colors for Spring to pinks, greens and gold to match drapes

and took my red couch to the bedroom before the hounds from hell ruin it!
Brought my bamboo out! Well, it's nice here 70 + degrees. Hope everyone is enjoying Spring so far. I have the itch to plant!! Talk soon...zoot

Potholder banner~

Took a tip from a fellow blogger Cottage Dreaming and Flea Market Wishes, and made a pot holder banner! One thing led to another, pretty soon I was ironing vintage linens to disply for Spring!! I finally fixed my planter lamp, so my next project is to buy some Basil and other herbs for my little kitchen garden. Enjoy the jelly beans...on the table. Tomorrow the Easter decor is coming out!!

How do we summon Spring?! Decorate!!!

Well guys...another sub zero Missouri day. I did manage to get out on Saturday and found this cool lamp for six bucks. Kinda Summery. I may paint it later. Also, using what I had, some yellow and red lady bug wrapping paper and some flowered giift tags, I redid my metal kitchen cabinet. This is what ya call bored and looking for a project. I will sooooo appreciate being able to get out in the garden soon. Hope you all are safe and warm and hanging in there. Spring is Near!!

Bambbbooooo-zle Thrift finds

Thought I would share my weekend finds. Just goes to show ya, GO OUT IN the SNOWY weather!! They had just put this bamboo couch out with perfect upholstry. 30 dollars!! Then this little trash can with pink wooden ball legs! It matches my hamper. Hope all of you are braving this deep freeze of a Winter.

Hey all...I have been looking for this game forever! My neighbors had it when I was growing up, they kept their board games in ther cool bomb shelter! Really! That is where we played back in the early sixties! Also found this formica desk for ten dollars! My all time best find, though, has to be these atomic melmac dishes! Only wish there were more...
