The dog days of Summer have been upon us, and Ziggy thinks it was way past time for a cool change! So this morning, I woke up to some clouds, a little sprinkle and lower temps! Yeah! I even felt like cleaning before midnight. Changed things around to make it less "heavy" feeling. I put my saucer chair in the living room, and my new pink and black formica end table! Chenille bedspreads, formica, open windows and a nice tune on the radio! These things all say Summer to me!
Well, I even opened up some windows!

There's always a new season and I love the excitement of Fall, but I'm trying to hold on a little longer to Summer's fresh veggies and city markets! Hope you're all enjoying the weekend!
But it seems like Summer shouldn't be over yet. I do love the cooler weather, but I'm not ready to give up the homegrown tomatoes. It seemed like Summer drifted on forever when I was a kid! I trimmed the Basil back and made our favorite sandwich, Grilled cheddar cheese sandwich with fresh pesto and home grown tomatoes! My daughter loves them too, so I made them for all of us Wednesday!

Hey bloggers! Trying to have a yard sale with stuff I don't really want to put on etsy. So, I'm cheating a little by posting some pix of some great seventies colors (thanks for posting and reminding me of these colors Frankie's Wife!)
On the shelves there are circles with little holes that (I think) are so the plants can drain? Anyway, it was a great deal, and I just had to have it. I can think of lots of places to use it, bathroom, porch, deck, etc. Anyone else seen one before?
