Countdown to Christmas Santa |
Ok, I am finally back, still no new pictures to show, so I decided to post these from Christmases gone by at ZOOT palace! You may or may not have noticed that I have had very few posts for a while. This has been a really rough time for me, for reasons I won't bore you all with at the holidays. I have just really struggled.I think everyone must go through a time in their lives when they wonder why they have tried so hard, worked so hard and tried to keep on keeping on...only to seem to spin their wheels, not see much in the way of lights at the end of the tunnel, etc... Logically, I know that things could be much worse, but that is not always consolation during a down time.Anyway, I never look at your posts and leave in a bad mood! This vintage stuff, which I sometimes wonder why I have collected so much of over the years, is who I am. I love it because it makes me happy and reminds me of simpler and happier times, and I know from past experience, I am not cut out for the new and modern...tried it, but didn't want to live with it.
I am praying for all of you out there in blogland. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year! I plan to give it my all to make it one for me and my family and friends, even though things aren't what I wish they could be. After all, isn't that the spirit of Christmas?
One of my blog friends will win one of the Santa blo molds shown in the window above by entering my give a way. I just sent out the Halloween one! LOL! A little behind, but it's the thought that counts.
And, I am planning to get off my butt and start posting regularly again! It's the best therapy I know, to stay in touch with all of you, who love and appreciate this vintage living style that makes me so happy!!!
