I've had a hard summer with the heat. I'm still hoping for a few weeks of enjoyable summer here in the South! I also can't believe August is half over!
The heat has taken it's toll all over. I hope there are some days that I can be outside without that misery, too!
Ah, and I'm trying to hold on to winter, summer is just such a punishment here!
Summers are brutal in my area too. Tho I must say, this summer has been amazingly mild. Mid-upper 90's, instead of 100- 110+.
I guess that's why i always couldn't wait for fall, and the cool weather, and best of all, Halloween!
I'm afraid I'm happy August is almost over, and the neighborhood kids are going back to school instead of being loud and obnoxious lol. (I know, I've become a cranky old lady lol).
Yes, now that the heat wave has finally broken here, it seems like summer will just whiz right by! I'm loving all these goodies of yours, especially that Coleman cooler used as a side table!
Thanks guys! Yes, 50's atomic...I can relate. But, just think, if we really WERE cranky old ladies, we wouldn't look forward to Halloween so much! Thanks, Carol. I used to do the whole cabins and cottages 40's thing and went crazy over all the thermoses and coolers. Still love them!
