I found this
I found this gray and maroon panther lamp in the basement after about 10 years and while the metal where the lightbulb goes in is rusty, the rest is fine! I'm surprised that it didn't get broken.
I found this gray and maroon panther lamp in the basement after about 10 years and while the metal where the lightbulb goes in is rusty, the rest is fine! I'm surprised that it didn't get broken. One of my black panther collection. I have several of the TV lamps, too!
I know the panther thing is pretty cliche' when it comes to fifties collectibles, but I still like them!
Do you have any? What about TV lamps in general?

I was thinking about how cold it is (more snow falling, and getting down to zero wind chill tonight). and after having put all my Christmas away and digging out this reminder of Bar B ques, I felt like yes...there is a light at the end of the tunnel. It will be warm again.
When my daughter recently moved into her own place, I let them take this table. I have a gray one Im thinking about putting up tomorrow. I miss my Formica.
Katz drug store was so cool when I was younger, I just had to share this envelop from there, the pictures came in it when we would order them. The Cat face was on the sign on the building and it was huge!~Loved it. Why must things change?
Hard to see, but these glasses, which I passed on to my daughter when she and her boyfriend got their cute apartment, have black and gold diamonds.
In my china cabinet, you can see the bowl on the top shelf.
Two favs, florals and diamonds. I like the unusual shape and frame.
The sign's awesome enough! Diamond bowl!

Two plates that say, "It's time"...just think of the possibilities?! I like the fact that the hands are on the 5 and the 8..Breakfast or cocktails...or coffee!
Two vintage postcards. I love the kind that fold out.

Pink and Green Plumes, windows , Carribean Coral on couch.
Unknown florals, pinks and turquoise and brown.
Leaf patterns.
Rose pattern
black background with peach and fuschia flowers
This is called "Happily Married".

A kind of dark view of the living room. OK, I hafta get used to this camera!
Mr. Ziggy in the guest room. I wash chenille bedspreads daily to accomodate this brood of hounddogs~
Not my family, but cool.
Angel's still hanging in there, despite her cough. I just enjoy her while I can.
This is a corner of the guest room. I love that gold metal shade!
Full view of the lamp in the corner.
This is the end table that my friend found me at the Ozarks! It matches the coffee table. Blonde, kinda Asian.
I have a "thing" for these kleenex boxes. I have them in several colors.
Not a good picture, but this lady head vase didn't even leave the person's hand at the Salvation Army before I said, "I want that!" Never seen one just like it. She's wearing a turban type hat. $3.00!
Here's the zootsuit computer...ancient!

I've been piddling around and switching curtains. My bark
cloth collection just got a lot bigger! That is, I found some, and please forgive me...in the basement. I pray it will smell right after I put it in the dryer with some fabric softner sheets. How it ended up down there, I'm not sure. and... Camera dilemma/ machine madness part 2. I finally resolved to go and get a cheapo camera at Walmart. Got it home, took pix...started to hook it up to download, and yes...you guessed it! NO USB cord. Now, I hafta trudge back out and return it. What are the odds? I tell ya, somebody cursed me! Anyway, now I do have HEAT and a new thermostat. Film at ...read all about it...NOW HEAR THIS!! Zoot will never give up! There WILL be new pictures!
ooops, I probably shouldn't show this, my 1946 Westinghouse fridge! It may be jinxed now and break down.
I forgot about my sixties stereo. I dropped the speaker and now it won't reattach.
Various lamps...still working. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
