I found this gray and maroon panther lamp in the basement after about 10 years and while the metal where the lightbulb goes in is rusty, the rest is fine! I'm surprised that it didn't get broken.

I know the panther thing is pretty cliche' when it comes to fifties collectibles, but I still like them!
Do you have any? What about TV lamps in general?

I do have a few smaller panthers I picked up at thrifts over the years. No lamps, just knick knack shelf sized ones.
They are no more cliche than starburst clocks or two tiered lampshades. I love them!
A TV lamp is definitely on my wish list, and there's nothing cooler than a panther one!
Oh yes, panthers are fabulous! Your collection is tops! They go for big bucks on Ebay & Etsy nowadays. I have a panther table lamp and love it. I consider it one of my "crown jewels" of collecting. I also have a tv lamp of the twin siamese cats w/ rhinestone eyes. My best friend gave it to me for my b-day and it is my favorite. I'd love to see all of your tv lamps!
I wish I could go down to my basement and find cool stuff like you do. LOL
I was thinking just the same thing as Vintage coconut. 50's table lamps are hard to find over here especaily ones that are not to expensive. Enjoy your week, dee x
