I've been very negligent in posting so-here goes! After getting a new job, WHICH I LOVE!!, I told you all about my fall. Two weeks ago, I fell at the grocery store and have been suffering every since, but nothing broken. Thankfully, I made it through the last two weeks and didn't miss any work! I am still very sore and bruised, but can see some light at the end of the pain tunnel...So, I finally got a real (albeit partial) paycheck that wasn't from unemployment! I couldn't resist hitting the thrift stores, but used GREAT restraint. However, I did find a pumpkin head man blo mold for a couple of dollars, and some other blo molds for my daughter's new place. She is already decorating, (wonder where she gets that?) for Halloween. It got really cool here the last week or so, with one night around 48 degrees! That sets us off for believing it's almost FALL!
I collect these! The one I got wasn't exactly like this, but moer a hobo looking guy with a top hat - but I haven't taken any pix. Anyway, more later. Hope all are well, and I am keeping up on your blogs, even if I don't always comment. I work four long days so I can have 3 off, and love it, but I am sure not used to the hours and having to be somewhere on a schedule after being off 4 months (argh! I still cannot believe it).
Later, ZOOT

Glad to hear you are doing so well pain wise and job wise! It does take some adjustment after being out of work for awhile. So happy you love your job. Blo Molds are very cool and can't wait to see your decorations this year.
Thanks Linda! You are always so kind and post on my blog. It makes me feel so good to know that even though none of us really know each other in our "real" lives, as blog friends we really care about our blog sisters!
Hey hey, you know me, I'm always around!
Glad you are doing better too. I live with chronic back pain, which is why it takes me so long to get anything in the house done (and chronic fatigue, but I don't like to mention that, it makes me sound lazy, and I am anything but).
Two weeks ago the store had Halloween candy. Days hitting 105+ didn't help it feel like Fall at all. They took the candy displays away. I wonder why? They'll be back out soon. Cheerful to see your Halloween pics!
Ha Ha 5o's atomic, the candy was probably melting! Well, it is weird that they keep moving holidays up -saw Christmas and Halloween together at Dollar General yesterday, and it brought to mind the "Nightmare Before Christmas" - and no, no person that actually succeeds in working from home the way you do is LAZY! I think you probably work twice as hard! Back pain sucks! I have deterioration in my lower back, and I just have to live with it.
Congrats on your new job! I'm sorry to hear that you're still in pain after your fall. It's crazy how long that can last. LOVE that blow mold! I always grab those guys when they're cheap, because they're SO expensive on Ebay. Take care, and I always love my visits here!
Hey Zoot--glad to hear you're on the mend and that the jay-oh-bee is going well. Yeah, the blo-mold is awesome, as are all blo's. I'm going to start working one day a week at a second antique mall (the one I'm at now doesn't do the vendor working thing) so it will be fun to be back in the working world, if only for one day out of seven (no pay, though, but it's in lieu of the owner taking any commission on sales). Keep getting better, girlfriend!!!!
