Ok, so I feel kind of like a traitor. I ordered these new chairs back around January, and they have been on back order. I finally got them yesterday. As I was carrying the old chrome and cracked ice vinyl to the basement until they can be recovered, etc. I couldn't help feeling sad. I am tired of having to cover flaws and feel bad because I haven't taken time to recover them, but it is also nice not to have to worry about the cover falling off when someone sits down, revealing cracks and tears!Of course, the new chairs are NOT the same, but...they are pretty close and comfy! What do you all think?

I think your new chairs look great!! And once you get the previous ones recovered you can switch them all around whenever you want. And who doesn't love options?!

My kitchen chairs have a rip or two, but worse, the foam inside has dry rotted and they leave a pile of yellow dust underneath whenever you sit on them. I guess I should tape up the holes under the cushions (put in there by the manufacturer). ugh, it's always something.....
love the chairs. Everything in my house has flaws- but I'm falling apart too!
