Yes, I can't pass up a cool old cookbook, just for the pix! Girlie Girl, I find the holders all the time w/o the glasses. I stick the ones I have in, but it seems like they don't always fit!
I wish I could have a thrifting escapade! It's just horrible here lately. I have that same little birdie. Love the glass carrier and those tomato glasses!
ZeeMama, are you taking your photos in the fog???? Or are you just using your cameraphone? Or is it my rapidly disintegrating eyesight? Whatever. You did great thrifting--I love glass carriers and you can use them for other purposes, too. Right now I'm looking for one to hold my set of frosted carousel animal glasses--they are so skinny that they don't fit in most carriers. Our thrifts suck, too, but there are fortunately a few in the next state that I can find decent stuff at. Once the thrift stores got online, it was all pretty much over for us thrifty find seekers!
