I got a few Easter items out last night that I thought I'd share with ya! Some went to Etsy, but a part of me didn't want to sell them! How do you like the Rice A Roni box? LOL...Part two will be tomorrow, when I haul out the Blo molds. I also found some cute stuff at a thrift store that is closing down...

Finally found a vintage shower curtain!!

I have been searching forever for a vintage shower curtain! Finally found this one only $2.00 at one of my fav junkie thrifts! They are so hard to find in good condition, unless they are in an original box...or on ebay for a fortune. This one will have to do..I love the pom poms! So - I changed some of the bathroom stuff to match. Still need a rug that's suitable.

Decal love and weekend thrift finds

This cabinet was a steal, of course I couldn't pass it up with the decals! I need a little piece to keep the door closed, but that's no biggy! Love decals as you can see!

Also, found these cute sad eyed kittens! and a rock picture - Comedy, but no tragedy, so maybe that's a good sign?

Mad Men? No we aren't to the 70's yet on the show, but the flip on the girl reminded me of it! Can't wait til it comes back!Top of china cab with all my pottery etc. Couldn't remember if I've shown that yet.

I had to move the kitchen around to fit the new cabinet, so the back room got the red metal chair.

This book of postcards are pretty swell! Check out the paisley robe I found. Love the buttons! Well- that's it for the weekend! Hope you have a great one!

Weekend fun and finds!!

My best friend finally got to visit this weekend! We have been "vintage partners in crime" for years! When she gets tired of something - I get it! This weekend she brought me this cool floor radio and a couple of chenille bedspreads!

Then, we went to my granddaughter's 4th and 5th birthday party. It was a bowling party...retro lockers there were awesome turquoise!

We didn't thrift much, but I did score an Ice O Mat, and the bottom white radio is a find from a couple of weekends ago! All in all a great weekend. Hope yours was fab!

It is the evening of the day...

My favorite time of all is the weekend, after everything is done and the sun begins to set on Zootsuit bungalow. The light comes through the bamboo shades and illuminates my vintage goodies, making them look all the more mysterious and romantic.This look in old movies is, I think, what hooked me on the retro vintage style. I'm trying to make things more tropical for Spring and Summer, the weather has been so nice! I forget it is only the end of February.

My doggies are all happy to have me home, they are content~

Well, don't have much else to tell...other than my car pooped out last week, and I have been busy finding another...not vintage like I would love to have, but practical...

Barkcloth and vintage fabrics

Vintage fabrics and barkcloth are what tie together all the other

decor in my home.  I could never imagine passing up any barkcloth, especially when the price is right at the thrift stores, and it is getting harder and harder to find...at least the tablecloths with cool and interesting pattens still seem to be out there!

I would love to see all of your vintage drapes, fabric, tablecloths etc..and how you use it in your homes!
