Wowie ~ Wowie Zowie! ... Frank Zappa
I was a little down when I left work yesterday, with all the ladies there seeming to get flowers delivered to their offices, etc.
Imagine my delight walking onto my porch, when this package was sticking up out of the mailbox!
Cheetah Velour seriously made my day! I opened the package and saw the cutest apron, and a set of little forks!
Also, my bloggin' sista Vintage Christine thought about her pals by sending out a Valentine. Thanks!Sunday, February 13, 2011
And now for something completely different!
a little lady salt and pepper, but one needs repair.
Not for the faint of heart! Open drawers diary!
A few days ago, 50's Atomic challenged us bloggers to reveal what's in our drawers. No, not the X rated version, but our drawers in the kitchen or bedroom, etc!At the time, I just could not get up the courage to show the world my weakness, stuffing things in closets, basements, drawers, etc..Heck, I just emptied my car of all the camping stuff my friend has been finding me today and put it out in the little trailer because it was warm here in the KC area. So...I got motivated. A little. OK, so, my top kitchen drawer keeps breaking and the front comes off. I decided to put the one that keeps falling apart lower in a place where I rarely need to open it, and switch contents, clean out and throw away.
This was underneath my kitchen towels. Cards that I had to have, and a variety of broken stuff, nails, whatever I needed to hide at the moment. Yuk!
I reorganized, and will show some after pix soon. Who know, today a drawer, tomorrow the closets, dare I say it, I may rule the world!
